where to find notepad with line numbers?
Does anyone know where i can find a text editor thats like notepad with line numbers and nothing else
(without code coloring, a toolbar, tabs, or anything that really takes up space--if there are adequate keyboard shortcuts, it would be great if there wasnt a menu bar too)
im stuck with using windows until i find time to learn linux, but for now, does anyone know an editor like the one described thx :-D

why not just type: Ctrl + G (notepad's hotkey to go to a specific line)?

Zombie....... are we using the same notepad? , cuz theres nothing like that on mine, maybe its only in win 98 or something.

sry if that sounded a lil abrasive--i didn't mean to. I really apreciate all that you guys are doing here, b/c this site got me started and taught me most of what i know about php, and most of the time when i have a question, one of you two has answered it, so thank you guys a lot. :-)

btw, it's not "my 3rd-party" program.. i just saw it mentioned somewhere, and wanted to see the reaction of someone actually using it..
so i used austinb as a guinea pig 
(i use emacs/ultraedit, as everyone probably knows by now.. ;))

lol, ya i phrased it wrong zombi got it right
the only thing about notepad2 is that it takes almost an inch margin for line numbers, but its not that bad
but, i did finally find the ctrl+g thing on my notepad...it only works when wordwrap is off... so i think im going to stike w/ 68K notepad.exe
