You know what they say....be careful what you wish for.

Me personally? I enjoy having my hearing. I like to listen to music, hold conversations with people, and just generally hear.

If you really think it would be cool to be deaf, I think you should take a trip down to your local school for the deaf and see how things are around there. Once you are finished, I think you will appreciate your hearing .

i think it'd be cool to have a deaf girlfriend. deaf and blind. it'd be interesting to see how we'd communicate, or even meet.

i also think it's cool to roll around in hospital wheel-chairs but i don't wish my legs were broken - otherwise i couldn't escape from hospital security.

Well,

If you wanna know if it's cool to be deaf:
Grab your bike, go to the shop, buy some matches and stick them into you ears.

After doing that, I'm quite sure you want your hearing back...

Notepad: a blind and deaf girlfried? Do all programmers have these stranges fantasies? :s

The wheelchair thing is cool!
