Zend Certification
Ok now that the Zend Certification has been out for a while - anyone have a take on it? I am considering taking the plunge and want to know about others experiences. How was it - Hard, not as bad as you thought, easy, killing ya? Do you think it was worth the $200? What did you do to prepare (I have the study guide and will be getting the practice test books).
Obviously I understand you are under a NDA - so I am not asking about questions. I am looking more for a "feel" of it.
For those that are in positions where it may effect hiring - do you consider it a + or just something else on the resume? Would you consider it as the PHP equivalant to the Sun Cert. for Java or something less?
I personally like certs just so I can test my knowledge and see if it at the level I thought it was for both strengths and weaknesses (it helping me get a job doesn't hurt either).
