Calendar Question

I have included the calendar in my xmb forum and it works great! How can I bypass the admin login and allow event additions by all?

RE: Calendar Question

The easiest way would be to just tell everyone what the password is

Other than that, look through the ltw_classes.php file and remove any referencing to checking the login ($this->auth->checkLogin())...

RE: Calendar Question

Very Cool ! Thanks
for your help, and thanks for a cool calendar. I wanted to remove the login because I have installed it on my "family" website, and didnt need a double login, (added the xmb header so they have already logged in to the site) Again, thanks for your work, my family will love the calendar!

RE: Calendar Question

I removed all the
php Code:
Original - php Code
  1. ($this->auth->checkLogin())
and the calendar stops showing.. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? here's the code that's left after removing...

<whole bunch of code edited and snipped out>

RE: Calendar Question

What a bummer...
My code was cut very quickly with no comments other than "whole bunch of code edited and snipped out", and I dont know why.. after all, this is a code site, and I see code in posts all over the place..

I was impressed with your calendar, and with a speedy 24 hour reply, but my first impression is fading fast.

RE: Calendar Question

Well, I am sorry that your impression is fading. I'm not picking on just you by snipping your code. I don't normally allow 600 lines of code to be posted in the forums.....

As for fixing your problem. I really wish I could modify the calendar to fit everyone's liking, but I simply don't have time to do it. I supply the calendar as is, with no warranties, and released into the public domain. You may take the calendar and modify it in any way you wish.

If it is any consolation to you, I have added "No login option" to my long list of features for a future version....
