Can't add new categories

Can't add new categories

Hey all,

I keep getting an internal server error when I try to add a new category:
"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
The server is running FreeBSD 4.5-RELEASE-p23,
PHP Version is 4.3.1
Anyone else have this problem? Or can anyone point me in the direction to solve it?
I can add new categories manually through the MYSQL console, but since I won't be the primary person maintaining this site, it would be better to have the built in functions working correctly.

if you are refering to the calendar script:
