event listing

I've managed to get the calendar working - AWESOME SCRIPT!!!

But... I would like to list just the upcoming events. I have tried the following:

Questions:
-1-What did I do to make the "admin" link at the bottom disappear? **this only seems to happen when there are no events.
-2-In my searching, it was suggested to write a function that would add three months to the current month (for the end-month feature) - I'm very new at php and was wondering if this was done and if so, is there code posted anywhere?
