Hey Matt - Calendar!!

The ltwcalendar looks very cool - and I read in the forum where there were some great admin updates added.

Any idea on when those updates will be released for download? Would love to see them in action!

RE: Hey Matt - Calendar!!

I was about to post a discussion item on admin enhancements when I saw your post.

I don't want to destroy the simplicity of the calendar, but I'm considering some admin mods.

I am using the calendar for a regional event calendar prototype. I can't do everything myself, so hopefully, I will have several admins. Here is what I'm thinking.

Modify the event table so that we know who created the event.

Create 3 levels of admins:
(1) user - can post events and edit or delete their own, but can't change other postings or add categories or other admins.

(2) admin - can do everything that a user can do and can also edit and delete other's events.

(3) super - do everything an admin can do, but can also add other admins and edit / delete categories.

We will need some sort of user management routine that would list and allow users to be added / edited / deleted.

Only admin options appropriate for the level will be displayed at the bottom of the calendar.

Feedback? Any other ideas? Anyone interested or already done this?
