ltw_calendar and the wide open password to MySQL
Hello,
Is there a way to protect the MySQL id and password from prying eyes? Listed in the ltw_config.php file is my id and pw to the database. Isn't that a little risky? Thanks, tt |

RE: ltw_calendar and the wide open password to MySQL
best is to move the file below your webserver root
if you don't have the proper rights to do so you can also move the file to a password-protected directory |

RE: ltw_calendar and the wide open password to MySQL
The V3 calendar moved this file to a 'private' directory, and includes a .htaccess that prevents all web access to it. download and look at the V3 calendar code to see how it was done.
