Mods to calendar ?

I'm new using ltw_calendar. Are there others working on mods and ideas for the calendar? While I would hate to see the calendar get more complicated, I'm sure many people have things that they have added.

RE: Mods to calendar ?

Yes, Dave I am currently working on the next version (4.0) for for Matt. Included are:

1) user password change
2) user management
3) user status (locked, must change pw)
4) user privs (read, add,edit,delete,logs,admin)
5) user login logging (to a db table)
6) event change logging (to a db table)
7) auto lock account after x fails in y seconds
8) breaking ltw_classes.php up and using conditional includes in calendar.php to enhance performance (by loading classes only for the current function) as well as making the core db, user and auth classes available for use elsewhere on a site.
9) view logs on line
10) optionally require login to see calendar
11) general code cleanup.
What I could use help with is testing and documentation (ie writing an "ltwCalendar" user's manual). I can do it all, it will just delay the release, and is a really good way to get familiar with the code.

RE: Mods to calendar ?

Well, I guess if I'm going to ask for help and encourage mods that I should give something back. I'll test and I'm not the best writer, but maybe we could outline down and other's could help fill it out.

Glad to help.

One area that has been confusing to me is that there does not seem to be a specific section of this forum dealing with the calendar program, so I drop my messages in and hope it is OK.
