mySQL error

I am getting an error running the install. I am a complete newbie and have a couple programs already on mySQL on the site (a pictures and BB both use mySQL through fantastico installation).

I get this error when I run the install:

show tables
Error: Fatal db Error.

What should I do to fix this? I don't know if I have to set the mySQL or not!

looks like you have the wrong password/host/username. Find out where you specify these values (do a text search for your mysql_connect() function and see what the parameters are) and make sure you have them right.

The parameters for connecting to the database are in the ltw_config.php file.

you guys ROCK! That's what it was. I had to link the username and password. now it runs the install!
