phpbb integration

how would i go about integrating my phpbb login/username stuff for the ltwCalendar?

i know i need to link the login to my login.php page for my phpbb board... that's irrelevant, i know that much..

just like, what would i need to change so that the users are 'verified' and only my board members can use the calendar (world can see = members can edit/add/blahblah)
