Returning to current month after login

Returning to current month after login

hi how do i stop it returning to current month after i login?

for example say i go to august to see what i have added and then decide to login and add another it goes back to feb 07. can i make it go back to where i was?

im using the latest version i think, only been installed for a few weeks, OS is Apache/1.3.34 PHP5

i want it to take me back to where i came from after login, add/update event etc
