User privileges

I would like to understand user privileges. I look in the DB and it's set to 128. I want to eliminate the need to periodically change passwords but I'm not sure how that is accomplished. I could change the value directly in the DB but to what?

Just change the value of max_pw_age in ltw_config.php to 0 (zero)...
