a little confused

Am I right or wrong?

We deal 5 cards then swap or stay. After this we store
our scores(for example assuming that we have got a pair : pair : 2 points)
Then we deal again 5 cards and swap or stay .....
we do this until 8 cards(or less) left.
And before every deal we "put away" the cards that already have been dealt.
This means that if we never swap we can deal more times.

That is correct. If you never swap, you can deal more times....

I don't see how that would help though, as the contest is to achieve the highest average score. If you play more hands but have a lower average score, that does no good....

RE: a little confused

hmmm...another quick question!

"The winner will the script that obtains the best average score over 5 runs."

So is it the best avg score per hand played or best avg score over five games (as in totalscore1 + totalscore2 + totalscore3 + totalscore4 + totalscore5 / 5)
