somehow this doesn't work for me. I mark the first letter -> it gets blue, but when clicking on the second letter the blue background disapears and all letters are white again?

how comes this?

Are you actually finding a word from the list? If you select a valid word the word will be highlighted in gray and it will be crossed out in the lists of words to be found.

If the word is not in the list or the start-end points are invalid you return to the normal state.

Seems to be working.

Yes, the one thing I saw that was lacking was a little bit of instruction for the user. You need to click the two end points of the word. I will add that in the page soon.....
