Appearance
Hello, I want to enter the contest but have a question about the appearance:

May I solve the problem without graphics, then display graphics only in 'Play By Play' mode or do we have to display all steps when solving, resulting in constant page reloading ?

You may solve without graphics and display only in the play by play mode. In fact, I would recommend going that route to make your solution faster.

Also, remember, graphics are not even required...

It is one of the judging criteria. But I was just saying that graphics are not a requirement. You could make a very nice looking display without using graphics. You can also make a nice looking display with graphics
