[appleeaters]Multiple Entries

I was just wondering how the scoring will work for someone who has multiple entries. I think that it would be fair to count their highest score as their entry. This way the same person doesnt walk away with more than one prize.

I agree... I think the highest score for anyone person should stand. --Adam

only one entry should be scored.

I agree with zombie.
I think the average points of all entries of the same person should be taken.
This is the fairest solution.

I also didn't understand before why multiple entries were allowed for a coding contest. I see no sense in it.
Please don't allow this for the next contests.

I'd rather see them use the highest than the average because if one of my versions was "unlucky" then it would drag the best version down. How did they do it in the Blackjack contest? It allowed multiple entries.

I would prefer average as well... Those who had the free time to develop parallel algorithms have multiple chances to 'get lucky' as well as 'unlucky'.

I prefer the highest score to count. IMO it is more "fair". Otherwise we should have known it beforehand!

For instance, i submitted 2 entries, but my second entry is certainly worse than the first (just changed some parameters). I submitted it thinking it wouldn't hurt and i wanted to see how it would go...

The entry with the best score will count as that persons entry.

In the future entries are limited to one per a person.
