[appleeaters]when do i die?

What happens in the round in that i'm dying?
If I eat an apple an get killed by a robot in the same round for examlpe, do I get the points for eating the apple? And if i crash into a robot and two other robots crash into each other, do I get the points for the crash of the two robots?

And what happens, if two or more robots crash into me: Is this also a crash between robots?

[appleeaters]RE: when do i die?

I believe the way that it works is you will get all points earned in the last turn, at least this is how it is in the current robotslib, chances are it will be the same in the judging script.

[appleeaters]RE: when do i die?

The events happen in the following order:

Quote:
1. The player may move one unit in any direction (up, down, left, right, or diagonal), stay in the same spot, or move to a random location. If the player is on an edge, and tries to moves off the game board, then the player will not move at all.
2. The robots move in the direction of the player. Robots move in eight directions.
3. If the player has landed on an apple, the apple is eaten (note: robots and apples can share spots, so be careful).
4. If two robots collide, they become two dead robots, which share the point of collision. Dead robots do not move. If a robot and a dead robot collide, the living robot dies and joins the dead robot on the point of collision.
5. If the player hits a robot or a dead robot, the player dies.
6. If all robots die then the game ends, and the player gets points for all the remaining apples.

You will get points for all robot collisions and apples eaten before the judge script even checks to see if you have collided with a robot.
