Borders?
Is anybody else bothering to find the edges/borders of the maze?
Not sure if I should bother or not, thats all. |

Borders?
Yeah it only took me an hour or so for the whole script. I'm wondering if anyone bothered to find edges and make use of them.
example1: CXC XOX CXC a 9 by 9 matrix in an multi-dimensional array, all the tiles on the outside have either one (X) or two edges(C) but the center tile has none (0). Did anyone go through and add relevent borders to each maze 'block'? I'm only asking because I think I have my code as clean as it's going to get (if we where playing php-golf it would be under 1000 chars) and it seems too easy. I was just trying to ask how much further others have gone. |
