Can't wait to see the results!

Ack.. I read about the contest too late to actually enter into it. I tried coding something up anyway (not finished yet) and it was an interesting problem. When I'm done I'll post a link in here I guess. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the submissions. Will all submissions be available online or just the winning entries?

RE: Can't wait to see the results!

All entries will not be available. All entries didn't even adhere to the rules Anyway, the winner and probably a runner up will bposted online. Of course, anyone is free to post a link up to their code if they want everyone to see it.

I am just about done judging the entries and should have the winner announced later tonight...

I will also have a new contest up tomorrow morning...

RE: Can't wait to see the results!

Heheh... They didn't adhere to the rules? That was part of the fun!

I enjoyed thinking up all sorts of (ugly?) hacks to get things to work according to the specs. That's why I'm eager to see the results of others.

I'm hoping I had some novel approaches to a few of the problems that came up, but there were probably easier ways to do some of the things I did.

RE: Can't wait to see the results!

Well, I lied. I don't have the results yet. The judging has been a little harder than expected, which is a good thing! Anyway, I've got it narrowed down to 4 finalists, but I've got to get some more sleep. So, I will continue in the morning....
