Do I know the positon of the exit?

Hi, I just worked on a new version for the maze-solver ... so ... do i know the position of the exit?

At the moment my program solves the maze without knowing the exit at start. It get it after traversing through the map ...

so ... do I know the exit or not?

Best regards
Oliver

Yes, you do know the position of exit prior to traversing through the map. You can get it when you read the file.

RE: Do I know the positon of the exit?

Hmm...I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you are asking. Your program is given the entire maze from the get go and the exit doesn't change. So, your program would know where the exit is at all times. If you mean, does your program get fed the maze AND the exit coordinates, then no, it does not get fed the coordinates. Only the maze itself.

RE: Do I know the positon of the exit?

I was the opinion that I should ignore the exit point and find it by traversing the maze ... So I read the coordinates from the starting point but not the coordinates from exit point ...

So I have to improve my script ... :-)
