Just a quick note on the maze contest
Starting the code today was probably <strong>not</strong> a good idea.

RE: Just a quick note on the maze contest
w0rd to that, i started a while back and tried to finish it up today... couldnt do it... my current status can be seen at http://sig.mine.nu/maze/createmaze.php. the contest was as challanging as you made it... i tried to genereate a single line maze, based on the input file.. and it was just too much to right all the code to figure out exaclty what tile should go where. the definitions for each tile, takes up more space than the actuall code to parse it.

RE: Just a quick note on the maze contest
I got to the point where I was spitting out text and HTML with what I think might have been a unique solution to determining walls from objects without a problem.
It was trying to start the GD stuff about 2 hours before deadline that finally got me. I may putter around with it tomorrow to see if I can complete the concept and make spiffy graphics anyway. |
