RE: Lame Prizes

How wonderful to hear from you. I'd suggest that you don't participate if the prizes aren't good enough for you....

Actually if you do participate and you win, I will personally go out and buy a book on manners to substitute for the PHP Book.....

RE: Lame Prizes

If I buy a T-shirt, I got a T-shirt. If I win a T-shirt, I've got a prize.
Not a fantastic prize, granted, but recognition for my ability all the same. If you want to win a Mercedes, there are crosswords in womens magazines you can do. Personally I am enjoying this.

RE: Lame Prizes

Geez, the prize is just a trophy. Do you suppose that all of those athletes spend their lives training for the olympics because they want a little piece of metal tied on a ribbon. It's all about sport!

RE: Lame Prizes

hmm, never heard of weaverslave. i use jEdit (www.jedit.org) for coding anything since it minimizes my coding time (abbreviations, folding, etc).
