My 1st impressions: cool but how do I test?

Yup, I love how this one is so loose (compared to say the crossword). It's possible to win with a 50-line program that just deathrays like an idiot

But, how do I make a program for the command-line? I've only done CGI apps really in PHP so far. Oh well, at least there's this page: http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.commandline.php

Also, there's no easy way to test either. Which makes it even more of a mystery whne we submit of just how good it is...

i hope you design your program to deathray like an idiot, cause considering you're only allowed one deathray per match i'd have quite the advantage while you're receiving the "DEATHMISSED" value muahaha

Well, read the rules carefully! You may online use deathray onces. If you hit your opponent you win, else it's GAME OVER...

actually, to clarify - just because you don't hit your opponent with the death ray does not mean it's game over. it's only over if you:

1 - hit the opponent
2 - fire the deathray into a wall you're standing right next to

otherwise the deathray will just miss and the game will continue

Simply make a .php file and the run the php.exe passing the file you've just created as an argument.
