[numbers] Winning Criteria
Just so I am perfectly clear on this, the first criteria for winning is the number of correct, distinct solutions a script finds. If there is a tie, than run-time will be the judging criteria. Is that right?
So, if Script A finds 100 solutions and takes 10 seconds to do it, and Script B finds 99 solutions and only takes 2 seconds, Script A wins? |

[numbers] RE: Winning Criteria
Sorry, I bad speak English, therefore look this example:
Script 1: Test 1 (5 problems): 20 results Test 2 (20 problems): 300 results Test 3 (50 problems): 1300 results Sum(1620) Script 2: Test 1 (5 problems): 25 results Test 2 (20 problems): 200 results Test 3 (50 problems): 800 results Sum(1025) Script 3: Test 1 (5 problems): 25 results Test 2 (20 problems): 250 results Test 3 (50 problems): 500 results Sum(775) Winner by first test is Scripts 2, 3 (and, by second test, winner is Script 3). Winner by sum is Script 1. Who will be best? |
