[Risk] Inter-script communication
This same topic keeps on coming up, so I want to make it really clear:
You are NOT allowed to directly communicate with other scripts in any way at all. Not with sockets, not with sessions, not with shared memory, most certainly not by looking in other scripts' files, and not in any other way. If you try anything, you'll be disqualified before your script will even get a chance to run, as I'll inspect all submissions before starting any games. I've been coding for 16 years, so believe me I'll know it when I see it. The only way that is allowed for recognizing another script is by looking at the input parameters, if you can work it out with someone. Was that clear enough? |

[Risk] RE: Inter-script communication
Xs0, I thought you were around 25... you started coding since 9? Dang, it seems soon we're going to get little genuises at 5 learning C++.
Why not just forbid inter-script comm.? It's practically impossible using just info about the board, so people are going to keep asking if they can do it in a way that would actually work. |

[Risk] RE: Inter-script communication
Well, I'm 24, started at 8
And they can't communicate, they can just recognize who's who (theoretically)... |
