[Risk] Points
Any script can come in second or third, but it takes a quality, thought-out, strategy-based script that actually attacks to come in first. First place should be worth more than only 1.5 times the second place score.
In my opinion, first place should be awarded 5 points instead of 3 points. First: 5 points Second: 2 points Third: 1 point Fourth: 0 points Any thoughts? |

[Risk] RE: Points
This makes a credible point. Semi-turtling would be a decent way to ensure placing where as a more aggressive script might open itself up to potentially being attacked and eliminated. On the other hand, a script designed to place 2nd would be unlikely to win the grand prize and might also be in trouble in the late rounds when all the scripts are superior in terms of strategy to early round competition.
