[Risk] Risk results

I'm too lazy, so I'll just use email names as identifiers

After first 3 rounds, the results were like this:

Code:
 1. 9 (m.sansone) : 179.5 points
 2. 16 (xenkrs) : 166 points
 3. 5 (damir.saric) : 162 points
 4. 7 (IQ.Gobo) : 140.5 points
 5. 11 (joe) : 140.5 points
 6. 8 (truhland) : 127 points
 7. 18 (martijn) : 126 points
 8. 15 (jack) : 122 points
 9. 19 (ecorona) : 112 points
10. 10 (david_c11) : 100.5 points
11. 17 (beckmann.daniel): 98.5 points
12. 13 (dex) : 97 points
13. 6 (mathew) : 93.5 points
14. 2 (mike) : 91 points
15. 1 (rok.mocnik) : 77.5 points
16. 4 (zack) : 77 points
17. 14 (webmaster) : 76.5 points
18. 20 (manuelle_slow) : 62 points
19. 12 (marco) : 62 points
20. 3 (stiansporaland) : 49 points

For semi-finals, two groups were made. In the first were scripts 9, 15, 16, and 18, and in the second, scripts 5, 7, 8 and 11. The results were:
Code:
1. 18: 45.5 points
2. 9: 43 points
3. 16: 34 points
4. 15: 21.5 points

1. 8: 47 points
2. 7: 44 points
3. 5: 32 points
4. 11: 21 points

So, scripts 7, 8, 9 and 18 went to finals, and 5, 11, 15, 16 played for 5th-8th place.

The final results were (points are from the last rounds for top 8):

Code:
 1. 9 (m.sansone) : 162.5 points
 2. 8 (truhland) : 106 points
 3. 18 (martijn) : 85 points
 4. 7 (IQ.Gobo) : 78.5 points
 5. 16 (xenkrs) : 48 points
 6. 15 (jack) : 37.5 points
 7. 11 (joe) : 29.5 points
 8. 5 (damir.saric) : 29 points
 9. 19 (ecorona)
10. 10 (david_c11)
11. 17 (beckmann.daniel)
12. 13 (dex)
13. 6 (mathew)
14. 2 (mike)
15. 1 (rok.mocnik)
16. 4 (zack)
17. 14 (webmaster)
18. 20 (manuelle_slow)
19. 12 (marco)
20. 3 (stiansporaland)

Congrats to everyone

PS: The games were ended after 700 turns, if they didn't complete. All rounds were played with 24 games, so that all possible permutations of players in a group were played.

RE: Risk results

xs0,

Thanks for a great contest!

Maybe I should have put some move code in there. The funny was, in testing, my script did better without the move code than with it.

Anyway, congratulations to the winners!

RE: Risk results

I had fun with this contest as well, it was my first ever contest entry. I'm looking forward to putting something together for Spades.
