Silly question
Fairly certain of the answer but I thought I'd double check it with you bunch 'cos your're pretty good about this sort of foolery, and as I was once told, the only silly question is the one that didn't get asked.
Is there any way of executing some php on the commandline without actually having your own server/installation of php? I have to use a free host to practice stuff on (for now) but quite want to enter this contest, or at least try. But that has a lot to do with wanting to play with a "death ray". It appeals to the supervillan within. |

RE: Silly question
You could always download PHP from www.php.net, installing it is almost a case of unzipping it...
If your not running it with a webserver it shouldn't be too tricky to configure (Its not over tricky with a webserver).. and then just run "PHP.exe capture.php" from the commandline. (I'm assuming your on windows here) |
