tired server

ho the deadline for solitaire is today, eh?
But my code was never succesful on my server (or computer?). The script never finish the job. But when I tried to upload the script to some online servers outthere, it worked well, although the score is still a bit disappointing. I wonder whether my script can finish doing its job on Matt's server tester.

RE: tired server

I want to clarify my previous posting.
What I mean by never finish the job is like this:
1. On my IIS, the html sent to my browser was not complete, it just stopped somewhere in the middle, even with unfinished html code like:
<td widt

2. I tries on my LInux-Apache, the browser keeps complaining that:
Connection to host is broken.

But when I tried the script at my online hosting server, no problem at all.

*sigh
*100% upset

help anyone, you have a php-beginner here.

RE: tired server

Some versions of PHP, with some builds of IIS and Apache, kill off the thread (ISS) or process (Apache) rather violently under some circumstances - usually code errors. I've even managed to kill off the entire IIS system before now.

Unfortunately, I can't remember what these code errors are or were, and even which versions I was using at the time, although I suspect it was to do with objects and references.

RE: tired server

I test on 3 different servers. If it can't manage to run, then yes it will be disqualified. I do give a best effort to get it up and running though....
