RE: type of maze
I have edited your post to make your mazes look ok. In the future, just stick them between code tags and it will look ok.
After seeing your mazes, I think I should point out this line from the challenge : "The exit square will be on the edge of the maze; all other squares on the edge will be `W'." Be careful not to overwork yourself As to your question about the halls. I see no mention of the width of the halls. Go with what information you have and assume anything besides what is mentioned is possible ;) |

type of maze + some research
Is the coder to assume that all the 'halls' will only be 1 wide. Or will there be 'mazes' that are just empty rooms with some sparse walls and the entrace and exit on opposite corners. If anyone has some prototyped mazes done could they post ;). I will include some of the ones i am working on in this post, hopefully they will showup.
php Code:
http://www.astrolog.org/labyrnth/algrithm.htm has an excellent summary of mazes 30x30 bah.. try a real maze hehe... |
