computer overload
Heh, I liked your article again. And even that wedding thing wasn't too far fetched, in GB there was a guy who tried to get married with his Playstation 2 but he wasn't allowed to so he changed his name to Playstation 2. Plus, I like the thing that you put a guy who originally is from Finland to the position of the God.... ;)
Anyway, you were the guy who chose to become a computer worker. Yes, nowdays every job needs skills with computers but in some of them you simply do something else more. Actually there are only two reasons why I won't become a computer programmer when I grow up. 1) It's difficult to find an employer and 2) I sit in front of computer too much anyway. |

Well, you could try personal relationships. I have friends and family who still don't use computers. "Keeping up" is geek-talk for compensation: people who have to prove their worth online instead of in real life. Trust me - your PHP excels. Don't waste too much of your time trying to become an expert at everything online only to realize one day you spent more of you life on the computer than in...well....life. |

RE: computer overload
I thought you did not like his articles? It seems you spend your whole life trying to make yourself look better/smarter that postalcow. It is like you over analyze his articles to make yourself look superior. It makes you annoying. I think you need a life outside of computers.

Thank you for your hilarious comment. I'm not trying to look superior in anyone's eyes. What I'm doing is simply telling my own opinions, is there something wrong with that? At least I have the guts to post with my own name! And yes, I do like his articles. And I do have a life outside computers. If you think I'm annoying... Well, then there's not much to do. Who says you HAVE to read Codewalkers' forums anyway? |

RE: computer overload
Well said.
Part of the reason I like codewalkers so much is due to the community feel - the very reason that it is a successful site. Why criticise someone for posting their opinions in an open forum? It gains nothing for nobody. |
