gmail is not spam
don't get me wrong, i don't like google going all portal-like, but there is no reason to accuse it falsely.

google will only _display_ ads next to your email (based on your email), and not send spam ads to you or someone else.

other free mail sites also show ads, and they also scan your mail (for spam, for viruses, etc..), so google is doing nothing more to your privacy than any other free mail provider..

// btw: i hate ppl with SUVs, and excuse me for a minute, while i step out to hug a tree.. ;)

Hey quit hugging the trees! You might get splinters!

Can we make Senator Bashing into a major sport perhaps? Maybe even advertise it in gMail whenever the words "Senator" or "Idiot" are detected...
