postalcow, for once, I think I agree with you (about so called "experts").

What do you (and others) think about laws restricting the label of "engineer" to only those people who have passed a state licensing exam (and pay the annual state fees associated with many certified domains)?

I know Texas had a law like this but they were discussing legislation to modify it. See http://www.tbpe.state.tx.us/ for some links related to this.
