wham spam thank you ma'am

That is good to know. I think spam is a problem. But e-mail spam can be fairly easily blocked in most cases. My beef is with those pop up adds. Most of them arnt to bad, but I have one coming through my Message Service and don't know how to get rid of it. They say "go to this site and get rid of these messages forever!" I am a bit warry of messages like that. If anyone can direct me to learn more about it then thanks! Also Postal Cow, why look so down on cooking bacon nude? Sounds like an interesting prospect ;)

Dissable the messeging service. Not MSNMESSENGER the messiging _service_. Right click on my computer -> Manage
Click Services and Applications -> Services.
Scroll down till you see messenger right click on it -> Propertys.
Then change ther Startup type: to manual and click on stop.
Then hit ok.

RE: wham spam thank you ma'am

my current place of residence forbids pets. but, hopefully i'll be moving sometime around this december/january, in which case i will, get, a dog, to replace my spam.

but seriously, coming home to see you have 50+ new messages doesn't put a smile on your face? it's like that time somebody purchased my old domain after i let it expire, and they turned it into a porn site. SOME would be insulted, but i felt complimented. i can almost hear them saying "that notepad sure knew how to generate a lot of traffic, now let's see if we can use this to our advantage"

it's not so bad. "we are the creators of our own problems" somebody said that, er sumthin.
