Installing Text_CAPTCHA
Hi I'm new

I'm trying to install Text_CAPTCHA and all the related packages.
But the installer will not allow it.

The installer states:


Failed to download pear/text_captcha within prefered state "stable", lastest release is version 0.3.1, stability "alpha", use "channel://pear.php.net/text_captcha-0.3.1" to install
cont...

Does anyone know what to do.
I tryed adding a channel but this didnt work.
Im not sure if that i because i used the right syntact

Failed install
Thanks for the reply that sorted it but now i have new one.

When i try to install image_text the installer states that package requires the gd extension installation failed.

I have the gd extension working fine.

What to do?

It's likely that the PEAR installer uses another PHP than your webserver does. Either activate the GD library also in that PHP, or install with the '-f' (force) or (maybe better) '-n' (no dependency check) option.
