MDB2 VS MDB_QueryTool

Hi,

I was using previously PEAR DB package and now I've seen that PEAR MDB2 has come with new features but there is also one more package named MDB_QueryTool. Now my project is big one & need more coding and I need ease of comfort. I've also seen cakePHP (a PHP Framework) through which we have to write less Database code ( You can see cakePHP Blog Tutorial in Manual section ) and it gives the same output but I can't use that due it's performance.

I need suggestion that should I go for MDB2 or MDB_QueryTool through which I've to write less code and good performance.

Please give your good sugestions.
