hi,

How can i know if i set up PEAR allright?


now i have the problem : my script cannot use DB.php !!!

i try this script:
<?php
include_once("DB.PHP");
?>

but i get only an empty page.

and when i try <? phpInfo(); ?>

Pear is not in the list.

need way more information then this. What if any errors are there? have you looked in your error log?

thanks for your message.
what does mean "my error log"?

i followed the instructions in
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.getting.php for Windows

(but i didnt does this step because i haven ' t understand it:

... You can then run
php go-pear.php


in a Windows Command Prompt to start the update process. )

The command prompt is in Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt.

Then simply type the given line in

i writed CHP4PEAR> php go-pear.php

because i have go-pear.php in CHP4PEAR
but it did not. ..this command is wrong

but how can i know if i installed pear allright?

hi,

i am now trying an other method,

i register the go-pear.php in my localhost and i run it, and i installed it, now for the configuration von php.ini..
i have this problem..

config-set (Filename, C:MonWebpear.ini, user) failed, channel pear.php.net

kann you tell me anything about it?.. pear make me crasy!!!

then, i have this:

PHP_PEAR_INSTALL_DIR is not set correctly.
please fix it using your environment variable..

where is the environment variable?
