PEAR DOWNLOAD

hello all,

I need to install PEAR for PHP4.3 . I went to pear.php.net and downloaded PEAR from the list of packages. All the tutorials I saw, told me to look for 'go-pear.bat' but it is not in the PEAR package. WHERE DO I FIND THE DAMN THING?
(note:it is not included with my PHP4.3)

it is in your PHP file not the PEAR package.

For information on how to install PEAR packages we have a tutorial in the site or you could go to the PEAR manual. I have provided links to both.

It might help if you read both and compare so you can have a fuller picture. Also in the PEAR installation manual you can find out how to install a local copy of PEAR on your shared host.

OH and one more thing - if you don't like the command line interface for the PEAR manager - they do have a web front end. Can't remember where it is - or even if it comes with the standard install, but you can now research up on it.
