Pear Issue

I'm pretty new to this being that I don't do a lot of programming and I am setting up the server for the first time.

When I type pear into the CL of my SSH, I get the following which I'm guessing has something to do with the mysql libaries?
root@server1 [/]# pear
/usr/local/bin/php: /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.14: version `libmysqlclient_14' not found (required by /usr/local/bin/php)
