Quickform and PHP5

Hi

I have been using quickform fo quite a while and I believe it's a fantastic class.

Now, I have noticed not long ago PHP5 generates loads of errors when running quickform. A friend of mine told me it's beause PHP5 handles the class differently than PHP4. Luckily, these messages can be supressed by changing the error reporting level.

I am a bit concerned that over time, future versions PHP does not run quickform and it becomes obsolete.

I have seen a version 2 of quickform is under development and has been for some time. Does anybody know when it will be released?

I'd like to know if any of you guys still use quickform and what you think of the errors it generates in PHP5... should I be worried or not?

The "errors" are only warnings. There is nothing the QF developers can do about these E_STRICT warnings because the "old" QF needs to stay compatible with PHP 4.

I can't tell you a release date of a stable QF2 version, but I know that quite a few people already use QF2.
