Help with implimenting includes into pre-existing PHP code

Help with implimenting includes into pre-existing PHP code

I'm having difficulty implimenting our includes code (click here for an example of the includes I'm talking about) into the CUTENews PHP code and the QUACT PHP codebase as well as forming these codebases around the current design of the site (i.e. the comic chapters, archives, and old page laid out as they are).

Neither are implimented on the site yet, so most of it is still in HTML. I don't wish to have a half-working site if I can prevent it, so I don't mind paying my dues by editing the html code for each update for the time being, but I'm sure you can understand after looking at the site why I wish to impliment a PHP codebase. I have to admit that I am quite a novice at PHP, so please be patient with me. I do have a code-goddess and 2 others working on the problem, but all three are having difficulty. We are developing a lot of the code in our lab on the site, but I would be very greatful for any additional help. I can't offer much in return for your efforts save for original comic book art, admin level on the forums, free printed books, and eventually t-shirts and the like.
