PHP IDE Interface

Hi all,

We all have seen Visual Studio and swim in the sea called PHP. I am jealous. Though PHP is such a strong language I do not have any IDE interface like what Visual Studio has.

Designing of screens (GUI), controls, so many other things are done in Visual Studio by my friends within the wink of an eye while I do the same much later typing every piece of code.

Can anybody help me by guiding to any such IDE in PHP preferably in Open Source with all GUI screen designing, controls, etc.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you are tvks. I use PHP with MySQL and most of my projects require just form with method=post.

What I wish there was a GUI that made the design of the Form/screen easier to accomplish. Most of the open source and share ware that I have found try to provide for complete web design with a learning curve that some times is not worth the time.

I have done some projects with MS Access and I have to admit that forms and report design & code handling are easy with the GUI that is almost like VS.

Would love to find out there a GUI like you talked about or even a Forms GUI that works with HTML forms and PHP in mind.
