error:undefined index .......plz help me..

i'm using php under apache...while accesin $HTTP_GET_VARS...i'm getting the following error...

Undefined index: HTTP_SESSION_VARS
Undefined index: DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT

it will be very helpful if any one can help me out in this problem...
