RE: filemtime

I've got a curious bit of code where the filemtime is blank unless the file has been generated by php. If I update the file, it shows no probs. In my case the date is blank.

  2. <?php
  3. echo date("l jS F, Y", filemtime("myfile.ext"));
  4. ?>
