RE: Multicolumn Input from a Database with PHP
if you want 2 columns create a variable called $toggle = 0;
then each time you loop through the results echo "<table>"; while clause... { if ($toggle == 0) echo "<tr>"; // results go here with <td></td> tags if ($toggle == 1) echo "</tr>"; $toggle = 1 - $toggle; } echo "</table>"; |

RE: Multicolumn Input from a Database with PHP
Ok, I'll bite the bullet here...
I'm imagining that you want your input form to look something like this: Code:
<input type=text name="CompanyName[]"> <p> <input type=text name="CompanyName[]"> <P> Then, on the page you submit this form to: Code:
foreach ($CompanyName as $name){
mysql_query("INSERT INTO tablename (Company_Name) VALUES ('$name')");
}
Does that answer your question? |
