RE: PHP Groups.

O but just one thing:

I dun't want to pay a group to make it for me. I was just wondering if there are any helpful people that are around that could be there if I have questions to ask or a script to modify.

(You may say "y not just use this forum?"....well I do use it, but I would like someone right there so that I may ask questions right on the spot, and it's much easier to explain over aim.

RE: PHP Groups.

a lot of people in the forums here provide aim names.. like me for example see it down there? (i'm not on now cause i'm at work) i'm sure they wouldn't mind your messaging them and if they're busy i'm sure they'll tell you.. i'm not aware however of any aim support for php projects that's online all the time.

RE: PHP Groups.

I added your AIM name...but havent seen you one. I do realize you could help...(A LOT) but I don't want to be a bug and bother you a lot.

Your so good, and I feel like I would be wasting your time.

RE: PHP Groups.

Hey guess what Anonymous...

this is how I read your post, you don't want to be identified so you don't register your post, you don't want to pay but you expect instant help. Well, you get what you pay for.

I've only just started looking at this forum but are active on others and I prefer to help the people who are obviously helping themselves.

Have you checked out the scripts at http://sarah.users.phpclasses.org or at sourceforge? There are alot of scripts and systems freely available - which I find so unbelievably generous.

RE: PHP Groups.

I really have no problem with registering at all. I am thank-ful with all this great help I am recieving. The reason why I was anon. was b/c I forgot my username so I couldn't really find a way to get that emailed to me.

I never really said I wanted instant help, I just wondered if there were places around that had people you could talk to more personally.

Either way, thx for the 2 links Sarah. (And if you didn't notice, I re-registered.)

RE: PHP Groups.

I'd guess Usenet is out of the question if you want to be able to 'talk' to someone, but comp.lang.php is great for all php-related questions.
