PHP works in Dreamweaver but fails to run on Browser
Hi there,

My PHP code runs in dreamweaver and also connect to the database, but my problems is when I run the same file on my local browser it wants do download the file and the PHP code does not run.

where is the file hosted? if it is on your PC, you will need to have PHP installed and running on your computer.

do you have php installed and running? A browser will not just display php, a service needs to interpret the script.

If you did install it, create a php script with the following info:

?>


does it display info or offer you the file?
