I am in the process of reveiwing a couple dating scripts, including aedating. I have tried (even purchased one) other scripts that claim great functionality and ease of use, but when it came down to installation, they either didnt have a manual or the manual was very poor so it caused great problems when trying to understand how to change various things (eg profile fields, templates etc). I am very interested in buying aedating which you people have installed, but because of the money involved i dont want to take the plunge before i can see some evidence of the documentary support the program has. I am therefore kindly requesting if any one of you can send me the manual so I can get an idea how easy it is to install and change according to my requirements. Once I feel it is ok, I will be buying aedating.

I would be grateful if you could fulfill my request.

I am being traumatised by aedating, Ive dragged my self through noah, osdate and a few other things but I am baffled by aedating. I get the error about not finding the header.inc.php file but understand that this will appear after installation. I just cant get it to install. It wont connect to mysql database. Am I suppose to set one up for it before install?

You do need a blank database to start, just create one in phpmyadmin and you're good to go.

I'm having issues with the security image not showing up in any browser, anyone have any solutions to this issue?

security image no show maybe is your hosting no support imagemagick, I can provide u hosting which can support aedating 4.

hey everyone i have the problem that i dont see the letters of the security image! i see the background but not the letters! anybody knows how to fix?

For header.inc, run the installation script. That is where you tell it how to connect to the DB. Be sure you can rewrite the file afterward though permissions because Global Environment changes will require it.

For the security image, be sure that $dir['root']/simg/tmp is writable, as that is where convert writes it out. Be sure that the path to $MOGRIFY, $CONVERT, and $SOX is set properly as well.

i have installed aedating but there are two mysql Erros in the second page ( /install ):

MySQL executing finished.
Error: Unknown table 'm_Directory_Categories'

i can't login in admin panel too, there are some warnings (/admin) :

I would be grateful if somebody help me.

how do I bypass the security image when someone joins? I have image magic installed on my server, the picture shows, but there isnt any numbers or letters on the security image.... What a hassle! Can someone walk me through Disabling or Bypassing that feature.

Could some one CC me on any replies to this?
