Apache/PHP/MySQL on Win2k
Has anyone installed PHP/MySQL/Apache on windows? I just got a fast connection, and I will be using a win2k production server that will be connected to the internet 24-7 (that is how I expect to test code). I am trying to compile a list of steps to take to avoid potential security flaws in this setup. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I know that it is not a good idea. I intend to do it anyway. Instead of making generalizations please could you give me examples of flaws and (if available) their exploitation/fix? Thanks, Mugane |

RE: Apache/PHP/MySQL on Win2k
I am not a MS guy. But no one else answered you. What kind of security problems are you worried about. I would never call Microsoft secure. You must keep up on the on the security update pactches. Don't run any services that are not nessessary. Tell me some of your concerns and I look them up for you. Like I said I a linux guy. What could I do to get you to switch to Linux
